Abstract
In this work high-speed photography and magnetooptical studies have been performed of the formation process of a weak ferromagnetic domain from a 180° antiferromagnetic domain wall at the pulsed field-induced first-order phase transition from an antiferromagnetic state to a weak ferromagnetic one in dysprosium orthoferrite.
