Abstract
We have in view a modification of our equation of state given in reference [1 ]. With this modified equation of state, we can compute all the properties of metals. Further, this model agrees with a more realistic model of a solid which has one branch of longitudinal phonons and two branches (identical) of transverse phonons.

Résumé
Nous proposons une modification de notre modèle d'équation d'état exposé dans la référence [1 ]. Ce modèle, ainsi modifié, nous permet de déterminer toutes les propriétés du solide. De plus, il s'appuie sur un modèle de solide beaucoup plus réaliste tenant compte de l'existence d'une branche de phonons longitudinaux, et de deux branches, confondues, de phonons transversaux.
